Passavant Memorial Homes Foundation (PMHF) held its 29th Annual Golf Classic, presented by First National Bank, on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Olde Stonewall Golf Club in Ellwood City, PA. Thirty-four foursomes participated in a scramble-style tournament with the hopes of being crowned the 2022 PMHF Classic Cup champions.
Celina Pompeani Mathison, KDKA-TV Pittsburgh Today Live Reporter and Pittsburgh Penguins TV Host emceed the event, which was highlighted by features such as a live on-the-course blackjack dealer, caricaturists, a Pittsburgh Cookie Table, three hole-in-one competitions, including a chance to win a $100,000 gift certificate to LW Automotive, exclusive silent auction items, including a one-of-a-kind art piece from local artist Cody Sabol, and many other raffle prizes. Golfer giveaways included a new pair of FootJoy golf shoes, a Nike shoe bag, a Nike golf hat, golf tees, and golf balls.
The winners of the event’s prestigious PMHF Classic Cup were the foursome representing BBL Fleet.
The PMHF 29th Annual Golf Classic raised more than $143,000 for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and behavioral health needs served by PMHF’s parent not-for-profit organization, Passavant Memorial Homes (PMH). All of the funds raised will be used to further enhance the services and supports provided to over 400 individuals that PMH serves across western and central Pennsylvania.
