With Passavant Memorial Homes’ Tuition Assistance Program, eligible full-time and part-time employees in eligible direct support positions can be reimbursed by Passavant Memorial Homes for courses completed at academic institutions while employed, Passavant Memorial Homes’ Tuition Assistance Program, at an amount of up to $3,000 per year for full-time employees and up to $1,500 per year for part-time employees.
Plus, Passavant Memorial Homes is a qualified employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program! PMH values the vital contributions that our direct care staff make on a daily basis to support the individuals that we are privileged to support. PMH is excited to announce that our organization has partnered with the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) (https://nadsp.org/) to provide all PMH direct care staff with an opportunity for career development and growth.
NADSP offers an industry-recognized certification program through their E-Badge Academy. The purpose of this certification program is to provide national recognition for the contributions and competence of DSPs who apply for and meet the certification standards. The NADSP certification program affords DSPs the opportunity to commit to the profession of direct support through its three-tiered credential program, which includes DSP-I, DSP-II and DSP-III certifications. These certifications require both knowledge-based achievements, through the completion of accredited training courses via our online learning management system, Relias, as well as competency-based achievements, through reflection and completion of prompts based on work-related experiences. This unique certification program provides a valuable means of career development!
