Passavant Memorial Homes Ensures Continuity of Services for Individuals with Behavioral Health Needs in Allegheny County by Assuming Operations of Two Personal Care Homes
On August 28, 2025, Passavant Memorial Homes (PMH) purchased and assumed the operations of two personal care homes (PCHs) for individuals with behavioral health needs in Allegheny County, providing continuity of services for the individuals residing in these homes. Each PCH is licensed to provide residential services to eight individuals with behavioral health needs, with a capacity to serve 16 individuals across the two locations.
PMH offered employment to the frontline staff at the PCHs, further supporting a seamless transition for the individuals receiving services by providing the committed, compassionate frontline personnel at the PCHs continuity in employment.
PMH is dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and behavioral health needs to live successfully in the community, providing optimal supports and services, while promoting choice and independence. As a mission-driven and faith-based organization, PMH has repeatedly demonstrated the willingness, ability, and expertise needed to seamlessly transition services to PMH when provider agencies have closed altogether, or have exited specific programs.
It is a privilege for PMH to continue in the furtherance of its mission with this current PCH expansion in Allegheny County, and PMH welcomes discussions with any provider agencies seeking a provider agency such as PMH to assume operations of services, or to join PMH in a different integrative capacity.
